Hailing from Qimen County, Anhui Province, this Keemun Mao Feng black tea boasts well-twisted leaves and yields a brisk, winey flavor with a subtle smokey note. It also possesses an orchid-like aroma with some light fruit bringing about a satisfying finish. Oftentimes, it can be used in an English Breakfast Tea blend as its strong and flavorful finish allows for a waking up of the senses. It has a warm and lingering aftertaste.
For those that prefer it, this specific tea can take milk and sugar. It is best enjoyed at 2.5 grams in 250ml of 95 degrees Celsius of water, steeped for 3 minutes.
